1. General Board Rules
#1.1 Don't mini mod! Please use the report function or contact a moderator/administrator. Do not reply to spam posts, and threads as it increases the amount of work required to clean them up.
#1.2 Encouraging others to break rules will result in a 14 day suspension. If it happens again you will be banned.
#1.3 No linking to warez. Illegally obtained or compromised software, ripped games, movies, music, CDs, DVDs, .ISOs, BLU-RAY ect.
#1.4 No advertising! If it's Dead or Alive related or benefits the community, it will usually be allowed. Do not come here though to just advertise your website.
#1.5 Please stay on one account. Having multiple accounts will result in us deleting your extra accounts. If you want to change your forum name you can change it in your profile settings.
#1.6 This forum is aimed at a mature audience. You must be older than 15 to be apart of this community.

*#1.8 Do not post obscene, profane, sexually oriented content! This is not a swearing regulation, but is about the level of eroticism allowed. Moderate ecchi and below is fine, full frontal nudity and pornography is not.
#1.9 Have manners, we do not tolerate rudeness , disrespectful, and insulting posts. Harassing or abusing users in any form of discrimination whether it be gender, race, religion, etc. is not tolerated here and will result in a 14 day suspension.
2. Posting Etiquette
*#2.0 Suggestive to mild Language is acceptable with in reason, spam or used in insulting another user is however unacceptable.
#2.1 Do not hijack other's thread by going off topic. Always stay relevant to the topic.
#2.2 Topic titles must have an appropriate description. When looking at the topic title someone shouldn't have to guess what the topic is about.
#2.3 Bumping is allowed if the reply has relevant information that is useful to the continuance of the topic. Posting a single word or useless message to attract attention to your thread is not allowed.
*#2.4 No Power-Posting/Empty Posts. Power-posting is best described as posting empty and worthless messages. Examples of power-posting include, but are not limited to, replying with '+1', 'lol', 'me too', 'I agree', or ''. This also includes just retyping what the user above you said while not presenting anything new to the discussion. Repeat offenses will result in a violation and will warrant correction. More than three will result in suspension.
#2.5 No Trolling! A troll is a person who intentionally attempts to disrupt, cause controversy, incite an argument, and/or receive negative attention by deliberately posting provocative content. If you feel that someone is trolling please contact the Administrators.
#2.6 If a general topic hits a year old you may request to have the thread deleted and post a fresh one in it's place. The old topic must be deleted first though.
#2.7 Please post in correct section(s). Read the forum descriptions before posting.
#2.8 Do not use full CAPSLOCK for topic titles and posts.
#2.9 Do not Double Post, or make Duplicate Threads. This includes when posting episodes to something.
#2.10 Search before posting about a matter.
#2.11 Please link images that have large file sizes and dimensions.
#2.11.5 Please do not image quote a user when they post image(regardless of size).
*#2.12 Do not post links or images to any kind of content of a pornographic nature. Judgement of what is considered pornographic is left to the admins/mods, not to the user(s) who is/are posting it.
#2.13 Always use default font size. Larger font sizes are used for titles and headings.
*#2.14 The posting of fan created content is acceptable with in reason(no pornographic content is allowed on this site), XNA fanart is allowed but the sharing of the actual files is prohibited here on DOAW.
3. Private Messaging
#3.1 All rules apply in regard to private messaging; in other words, be respectful in PM.
4. Signatures and Avatars
#4.1 Signature Regulation
#4.1.1 Maximum signature dimensions is 350px(width) x 150px(height)
#4.1.2 Keep signature sizes low to save up bandwidth
#4.1.3 No advertising in your signature space
#4.1.4 Signature image must be SFW (Safe For Work)
#4.2 Avatar Regulation
#4.2.1 Avatar image must be SFW (Safe For Work)
5. Chat Room/Shoutbox
#5.1 All rules apply in regard to private messaging; be respectful in PM.
#5.2 If you use the chatroom to circulate, bring about, or continue drama you will be suspended for 14 days. If you do it a second time you are banned from chat.
*#5.3 All rules thus established for the forum are extended to the chatroom. Understand that any action taken as a result of a rule violation is nobodies business except the admins/moderators and the infringer. You are not entitled to know why someone got warned, kicked, banned, or any other kind of measure taken to correct a rule violation.
